1. Broomehill Tambellup was once home to the Noongar people, the indigenous people of the region.

2. The region is known for its picturesque landscapes, including vast, pristine forests, and meandering rivers.

3. The town of Broomehill is home to one of the largest trees in Western Australia, the giant Karri tree. The tree is over 70 metres high and is around 300 years old.

4. Tambellup has a unique feature, the Tambellup Drum Muster. It is an initiative that aims to recycle drums and reduce landfill waste. This initiative started in 1994 and to date, over 2 million drums have been recycled.

5. The area is known for its rich agricultural land and produces a range of crops including wheat, barley, sheep and cattle.

6. The Broomehill Tambellup region is home to a unique type of spider called the Travelling Spider. This spider has developed the ability to travel on the wind by releasing tiny silk threads. As it travels, it collects food and grows in size.

7. The area is also home to the Broomehill Tambellup Pool, which is a popular spot for swimming, fishing and other watersports.
